This year’s MWMEC will be held from September 23 to 25 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) in Pasay City, coinciding with National Maritime Week celebration.

This year’s MWMEC theme is “Steering the Course: Philippine Maritime Workforce in the Global Shipping Era”. The event will be a social dialogue between DMW, DOLE, MARINA, and PPA with maritime stakeholders, such as seafarers, shipowners, ship managers, manning executives, educators, trainers and service providers to discuss the industry’s concerns and challenges in the face of green shipping, new technologies, geopolitics and regulatory issues.
